I'm Michal McCracken, certified dog trainer, dog walker and pet sitter.
Since 2006, I've been helping Wellington families go from chaotic to calm, using positive reinforcement with their dogs, and building a team of trained walkers and sitters to help with the day-to-day.
IN 2018, I SOLD MY THRIVING DOG DAYCARE. ON PURPOSE.
I kept the part I loved most, the walking and the pet sitting, and renamed the business Frolic.Pet so nobody confused us with the old daycare. Same standards, sharper focus.
THE PART WHERE I PROVE I'M NOT WINGING IT
I'm an honours graduate of the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. Nearly twenty years in, I've pretty much seen it all, from the puppy who's so chilled out they won't get up to go potty, to the one bouncing off the walls with pent-up energy at 6am.
There's a plan for both.
I DON'T DO THIS ALONE ANYMORE, BUT I STILL DO IT MY WAY
A small team of trained dog walkers and pet sitters carries the day-to-day now, every one of them held to the same standard I set for myself back in 2006: show up, stay the full time, and treat every home and pet like your own.
